Kimitsu: Fangirl of Japanese Pop Culture (but the pretty boys help a lot). Chinese-American. 22. College student. Born/raised in NYC. A diehard Arashi fan as of late September 2007, which has since expanded into a general love for boybands that are active and release in Japan, but particularly for Johnny’s. In love with being entertained. Has a severely tiny attention span. Usually has no point to her writing. And likes to ramble a lot more than this blurb would suggest.

This blog: Second verse, similar content to the first. (In no particular order – fangirling, opinions/reviews, fangirling, occasional news, fangirling, links, fangirling. Did I mention fangirling?) “let it beat! – ramblings of a fangirl 2.0” is the unofficial tagline for a reason. Re-started because I just couldn’t shut up about AAA.

The title: From AAA‘s みんなスター! (Minna STAR!), a cover of the song We’re All In This Together from High School Musical. The title of this blog is preferably written, however, as minnaSTAR. No, I don’t particularly like the song. It was just fitting. To my state of mind when I created the blog. Don’t ask. I never do.

Reviews: Always on whatever I’ve listened to, and felt in the mind to review. I make no claims that I am unbiased, musically trained or knowledgable, or that you will agree with what I have to say. In particular, I tend to focus on the vocals and the imagery the song gives me rather than technical aspects. Overall, what you see is what you get – that is, plebian opinions from a musically-plebian mind. Though you are always welcome to comment whether you disagree or agree.
